The Jewish Mother has been a music venue/restaurant for over 30 years now! The "Mother" opened in 1976 and features a variety of music such as Robin Welch (a local musician whom still plays every Sunday brunch from 11am-3pm), reggae music (Matisyahu, Burning Spear, John Browns Body, The Meditations), blues music (John Hammond, Tab Benoit, Pinetop Perkins, Carey Bell), jambands (Col. Bruce & the Codetalkers, North Mississippi Allstars, Karl Denson's Tiny Universe), punk/ska music (The Pietasters, Big D & the Kids Table, The Phenomenauts) and much, much more. Hi, How is your week ? the dark nights are drawing in and its starting to get colder , winters on its way..lol wont be long and ill be getting the snowmobiles out and ready..lol well it looks like my new house is going through , if it goes to plan ill probally be heading off to New Brunswick later in October to get the keys etc, but then wont be moving fully untill early next year probaly about March, gives me plenty of time to pack etc going to be a big move so much to take, my studio will probally fill a truck ..lol its going to be great setting up a new studio. Everything is going well with the christmas songs , probally be finished in aweek or two the vocalists are doing a great job , the songs are sounding great, I am looking forward to sending CDs out to radio etc. I am getting an Interest from the media , tv,radio etc so Ill probally be sending a lot of CDs. well my day is planned and the rest of the week is looking busy for me aswell but then I wouldnt want it any other way..lol got to keep busy striving on, I think ill take a break later and cut logs get out in the fresh air its looking like a nice day.
