The Jim-Jims are Belly-Up.
The Jim-Jims were a raw rock n roll four-piece band from Lafayette, Ind. Established in April 2002, they played various gigs from basements to bars to college campuses all over Indiana, Ohio, Missouri and Illinois. Their main influences included the Ramones, Supersuckers, The Cramps, the Misfits, The Cars, Motley Crue and Electric Frankenstein.
The Jim-Jims have three 7-inch records and three CDs on independent label Wee Rock Records. The latest, Vamos a la Playa, is available at Downtown Records now. The Jim-Jims played with noteworthy bands like Squirtgun, Calibretto, Blue Sky Mile and Thee Fine Lines.
The lineup included guitarist and vocalist Alex P. Cool, vocalist and bassist Tim Springfield, drummer Stevetor and guitarist Johnny Nightrain.
