I see you finally got to check your page Scott said it would take you a while. Enjoyed your music at that long ago SABS Jam. Hope to catch you again. Enjoy the long weekend!
The memorial service was beautiful. The choir he has played with for the last several years at his church singing. Family, friends getting up to talk about their experiences. It was just great. Thanks to all who came.
There will be a tribute and benifit on March 15th (Sunday) The tribute to Craig, and the benifit to help his wife Lisa get through the next few months. It will start at 1:00 PM. Doors open at 12:00 noon. It will be hosted by the great folks at Make My Day. A special Sunday afternoon edition of the Thursday Night Bobby Beal Pro Jam. Followed Mike Ellis and his long running Sunday Night Jam. Bring your instrument and come out to play. There will be food, raffles, items for silent auction, and of course, great music and jammin.
We are looking for items to raffle and/or silent auction. Anything at all someone might bid on from a dozen cookies or a cake, service related items like hair cuts/facials etc..., coupons/gift certificates for dinner/movie etc... or anything. We already have 4 guitar lessons, an Ibenez PF acoustic guitar with hard case, commitments for a couple of cakes, but we have a long way to go. We have 2 volunteers (who really can COOK) to run the 'kitchen' and have a great plate of food offered. So anything at all that can help out will be greatly appreciated. Donations to help with the food purchase would be appreciated also. The menu will be listed a bit later when they get it back to me.
Contact George at (210) 313-7422 or Tabbie at (210) 313-7488. Or come by Make My Day this Thursday and see Vince or myself.
