Bio
.. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .......... Sometime in the year 2000, from the area surrounding Sydney, a new concept in recording and producing original music emerged... .. Easy to produce, record and replicate live and working on the theory that close enough is good enough, Andj and Deej started collaborating and writing prolifically under the title of The Jesus Met Elvis Project... .. Finally in the fall of 2003 they started to take their extensive and ecclectic catalogue of songs into the recording studio. The result was the release of three independant EP's, Hearts in the Dust, Use your Evolution and the combined extended EP Crunchin' Gears and Breakin' Hearts. The response was mixed but the reviews were generally the same "ambitious yet potentially brilliant".. .. With enough material recorded to fill 2 CD's and enough written to fill 3 more, The Jist focused their energies on other creative ventures, knowing that they would always return to the material they left behind... .. In May 2005 they returned to the studio and will soon release another EP with new material, plus re-release their past efforts on a combined CD titled The Jist - Demo's, B-Sides and other Rarities. This combined with the release of music videos for all their work, past and current and continuing to pursue all the avenues of their creativity, Andj and Deej will definitely be sure that 2005 will be the year that you get..The Jist!.. ..22 Wheels...... .. .. .. .. ......Add to My Profile.. | ..
