Bio:

The group was formed in Anahuac, Texas in 2005 with original members Kevin Choate and Casey Royer. After a short go, the band went on a break to pursue other endeavors.

The two original members stayed in close contact and felt a kinship in the music that they played. In 2008, The Jobe Wilson Band was reborn with the addition of drummer, Anthony Comeaux, lead guitar player, Lee Nuckols, and lead guitar and rhythm guitar, Ryan Dickson.

The mix finally felt right. With new songs written and old songs perfected, The Jobe Wilson Band, is better than ever. We are currently taking our time, baby stepping our way into the music industry. We are fresh out of the studio with a full-length independent CD titled "No Plans To Prosper".

CASEY ROYER - Lead Vocalist and Rhythm Guitar - A singer/songwriter, just trying to bring new light to the scene with true life lyrics and raunchy pickin...

LEE NUCKOLS - Lead Guitar - He Is a heavy riff oriented lead guitar player, with a rich bluesy style of picking. His joining the band has promised to bring a whole new dimension to our style..

RYAN DICKSON: Lead Guitar and Rhythm Guitar- Is the newest member of the band, with heavy southern roots style of playing. He has added a new dimention to the band.

KEVIN CHOATE - Bass - Accomplished guitarist as well as a songwriter, he has a wide variety of musical influences and brings a new kick to the style of music that we play.(AKA the resident "Hippie" of the band)

ANTHONY COMEAUX - Drummer - Anthony has become the glue that holds the band together. From Bolivar, Texas; he brings a vibrant energy to the band that was missing before his joining. Thats why he is known as Anthony "The Animal" playing on the bang bang thangs.

Influences:.. Music has always been an important part of human existence. It can entertain. It can contain a powerful message. It personifies the human spirit and all of its emotions. We dig on tx country, red dirt, southern rock, a little emo etc.

We are a unique blend of old school country lyrics on top of new school arrangements with no boundaries.
