The Johnny Max Band has just been nominated for the Juno Award for "Best Blues Album of the Year"...Along with our 3 Maple Blues Award nominations, this has been a wonderful year for our 4th CD......We have been playing all over Southern Ontario for the past dozen years or so. With over a hundred Festivals and benefits under our belt...we are always being asked back....A mixture of swampy New Orleans R&B, maybe some old style Rock'n'Roll thrown in...always a ton of Blues...plus the most important ingredient..fun...It is always a good time when The Johnny Max Band comes into town....A get your feet movin, a backside swinging, stomp your feet kind of band...The hardest working band in the land...

Hey Johnny, How is everything? I redid all my demo songs, and reccorded 3 more original tunes.
