My touring band/group wants a show and a guarantee of 300 + catering?

We don't guarantee x amount of dollars and catering. on rare occasions we will but this would be the responsibility of the promoter you have contracted. We are a venue not a promoter (even though we help promote) We just cannot afford to pay every band that "pulls well in flagstaff" because most of them dont. But hey if you are that band and you draw well and prove it we will get you what ever you need.

Can I rent the Joint?

We do rent the venue for a extremely low price (at cost) in which case it covers: (sound system, sound guys, security, and venue) We keep it lowest in town so you can make money and our sound men and bouncers can feed there families cause lets face it they work hard for there money. Throwing out drunk A@#holes that make your fans uncomfortable is not fun.

Im a Promoter can I rent the joint for my event/show?

ABSOLUTELY! We do rent to Promoters for the lowest price in town, we are a 250 max occupancy venue a block from college campus, and have a partnership with a strip club next door that is beneficial for comped artists to hang out in.

Will you do a door split with my band/group?

Sorry, We dont do door splits. Lets face it, regardless of how well a show does, good or bad we have hardworking sound guys and bouncers that need to feed there families. The "Hey bro, sorry we didnt make enough to pay you" thing cant happen anymore. Granted 80% of bands haven't given us this problem but the 20%, the bands that "don't care how many people show up they just want to play" (even to an empty room) took there toll as commendable as that attitude is.

Can I send you fliers for my event?

ABSOLUTELY! We will help you promote so definitely send us promo and fliers WE WILL HANG THEM EVERYWHERE!!! We will also blast the internet to help out.

Does flagstaff have a good music scene?

Definitely, It really depends on your act and how well you promote. We have 20,000 college kids attending the college 1 block away as well as were named one of the top towns to visit in 2009. We are the closest venue to NAU campus in flagstaff.

I heard you guys were a strip club?

NO!!!! We get this alot. Back in the day the neighbor/building/business next door of the joint (twin peaks strip club) Decided it would be cute to change there name to "the strip joint" Not sure if this was to steal some of our business or just to be cute. So there was "the joint" (us) and next door "the strip joint" (them). Ever since we have been confused with "the strip joint" (now called blush cabaret) which is a complete separated and different establishment.

Is The Joint safe for my kids to go to?

ABSOLUTELY! The Joint is owned and operated by members of the flagstaffs sheriffs posse who volunteer for the community. On top of the owners being really great guys the in house booking Shan Dan is a community volunteer that mentors students and has organized fund raising events for everyone from Save Darfur to Second Chance Foundations for animals. These guys know the importance of having a positive safe environment for kids so on top of hiring safe polite security (best bar staff flaglive 2009 award) to keep your kids safe. We also pride ourselves on keeping alcohol separate and out of the hands of underage kids. We have been awarded the "toughest bar for underage kids with a fake ids" award. So come stop buy and visit our wall of shame compiled with hundreds of fake confiscated fake id's.

I cant find a promoter to book my band/tour and I dont want to book the venue myself.

We have to have someone to take personal responsibility to make sure the show is fun and promoted well. Your driving all the way here, might as well make it worth it right. The truth is, it breaks our hearts seeing a hardworking, broke, touring band playing to a horribly promoted/empty show, It really makes us angry. So If you dont think you will pull well or cant find a promoter, there is a handful of smaller venues in flagstaff you can look at, look up any coffee shop because they host music (bring a p.a.) as well as a handful of bars that do 21+ events (bar shows).
