The Jones memorandum is a pair of denim bell bottoms flapping over a sea of talcum powder, a light blue budgie jet skiing on tartan cellophane, an enamel badge on Morks braces and a weary hippo named Simon dipping his toe in coconut milk. The Jones memorandum started as a simplistic dub instrumental over a cup of coffee on a Formica kitchen table in Haringey, it had no aspirations to move beyond the pin-holed nebula of its creator’s tiny mind. So you scream and you shout ‘cos you don’t know what life’s about but I guess we’re all just people in the end. The Jones memorandum has lemon eyes. The Jones memorandum has never entered an opinion on an eel fishing forum. The jones memorandum is your friend.
