The Jones was formed in Leeds, UK, by singer Kris Jones and guitarist Kev Jones after a chance encounter at a Shaun Ryder gig, From there they went on to become the main songwriters of The Jones.
Kev and Kris where soon joined by Mike, Adam and Finally Jono and it became apparant that it worked, Chemistry, Vibe, Ability. It,s all there.
The Jones are a unique song driven outfit - with anthemic power and feeling, their music is suffused with rolling melodies and searing guitars
The Band are at there best on stage and are preparing more gigs for the future, having played in excess of 100 gigs last year -including supporting Off The Wall at Ripley Castle in front of Six Thousand People..
They've worked with producers Will Jackson (Music/ Embrace/Kaiser Chief/Pigeon Detectives) and Matt Elliss (The Glitterati, Honeyz ) on recent recordings - Have had much support from Kath Canoville (former Brit Awards Judge), Gary Ashley (Reposession Records) and Mike Regan (Hired Gun Management USA) and are now being managed by Ben Newton At Atomic Management London.
