Jodi Paulovich

Jo was born and raised outside of Pittsburgh. The oldest of four, she grew up on the stage, as a dancer and actress. Jo has a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism and Spanish from Penn State University, where she wrote and anchored the noon news for the local NPR affiliate and wrote for the campus newspaper.  Upon graduation, she moved to New York City where she studied acting and did various things in the performance arts, including dancing, modeling, and acting in several independent films, TV commercials, and hosting two TV pilots.  Communicating to the masses was always Jo’s passion and gift.  However, being a strong-minded and independent thinker with something to say, the shallow and materialistic pop culture subjects of the shows for which she was being cast were less than fulfilling for her, and she was always left wanting for something more profound.

Born with a heart for those less fortunate, Jo had always been involved with charitable and humanitarian causes. However, it was a catastrophic accident and near death experience along with her charisma and passion for helping others that brought about The Jo Show. The Jo Show was created out of Jo’s sincere desire to give back, lead and inspire – what she does best!  Jo lives in Brooklyn with her Siamese cat, Rudy Giuliani.
