About me: We are the Gaston County Chapter of the Autism Society of North Carolina. Our goal is to offer support, resources, and friendship to parents, care givers and teachers of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. We have monthly meetings at various locations in Gaston County including public schools, churches, restaurants and cafes. If you are in the Gaston/Mecklenburg/Cleveland County areas, please add us to your friends.
Who I'd like to meet:
Parents, teachers, care givers, friends, siblings, grandparents, case managers, support & respite workers, etc. Anyone who cares for and about adults and children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and hopes to learn and grow in the Community. Look at our FRIENDS listed below for wonderful online AU contacts. Many of them are parents and teachers of AU children just like you!

**Therapy Services**..I am a parent of a 4 year old child that was diagnosed with autism at the age of 2 1/2. I am offering this summer to parents in Cleveland and Gaston counties, therapy services for school age children because I am aware of the cost of private therapists, and most of our children do not qualify for extended school year services. This will be at low cost in your childs natural enviroment (your home/or school). If interested please contact me on myspace for more information!
