The Jumble Caper is an acoustic-rock group eight years in the making.
During February of 2000, Billy Deavers and Michael Wiles met in college choir and began playing in an alt-rock group named “Room 402.” Although the band dissolved a year after graduation, the seeds of a great collaboration were planted.
Deavers and Wiles played together as an acoustic duo for a few years, deciding in 2007 it was time to expand both their line-up and their sound. After adding Kevin Pahl on drums and Brad Wantz on bass, the quartet quickly got to work integrating their acoustic roots with a decidedly harder, more aggressive sound.
Listen for yourself and hear what The Jumble Caper is all about. The band hopes you like what you hear and invite you to catch their unique and exciting live shows.
"The truth is that our finest moments are most likely to occur when we are feeling deeply uncomfortable, unhappy, or unfulfilled. For it is only in such moments, propelled by our discomfort, that we are likely to step out of our ruts and start searching for different ways or truer answers."
That's really funny about my picture. But hey, at least you got a good look at my camp family :). I've been on this crazy myspace place for a little while now. Ah, the fun!
