The June Brides were active from 1982 to 1986. During that time we achieved no commercial success whatsoever, but that wasn't really the point. We loved making the music, we loved making and then having the records, and we loved playing the songs live for people. We are thrilled to realise that there are still folks out there who value it.
There have been 3 reunion concerts since 1986 - in 1995, 2003 and 2006. Who knows when the next may be?
"No Place Called Home" - live, and spiky!, in 1985.
"Heard You Whisper" - Live, London, 2008
"Every Conversation" - live 2008.
yes, i am a man of infinite taste! or are you just saying that cos i like the june brides? still think thats a brilliant profile picture. any solo escapades coming soon?
Thanks Junies - always a pleasure when "Sunday to Saturday" blasts from our iPods. Saw you a few times, and especially remember the Cricketers in Kennington. Genius.
