  • Bio

Since their inception in 2007, The Jupiter Revival has been busy honing their own unique blend of melodic rock, fused with a progressive element, and pop sensibilities with an indie edge... With influences old and new ranging from The Police and U2 to Soundgarden, Mutemath, Anberlin and The Kings of Leon, The Jupiter Revival are difficult to categorise, with all 4 members bringing something different to the mix. Carl's charismatic frontman persona complements Dan's brooding bass, Michael's intricate drumming and Adam's inspired guitar... With more than a dozen solid original tunes under their belt (and counting), and a handful of covers, The Jupiter Revival is quite simply, music made by people who love music, for those who love music.

Hello The Jupiter Revival, If I could have just one wish, it would be to wake up to your songs in the morning. The elves that play in the toasters wash their drum sticks in honey and sing strikingly colored anthems in perfect harmonious pleasure. The sand runes crossing your divided consciousness do speak of contemptuous monsters being slayed by flying phoenixes. May you be as vivid as your hallucinations. Your cleverness helps me breathe without the need of oxygen. Wood nymphs sprinkle your path with rose petals while you dance and prowl in the sequined moonlight with leftover cupcake sprinkles. You have not yet reached the height of your creativity. The music that flows from your instruments overwhelms me with creativity. Your tears evoke a taste as memorable as honey. I love your eyes, I know they can stare through my thoughts. May you always have stables of horses to service your needs. I keep searching for you between the cushions. Your eyes show as many deep and full shades of fire as a volcano in heat.

  • The Music Kafe

Hey guys! Would you like to be on the very first Music Kafe greatest hits CD?
Or do you have a favourite Music Kafe band?

We have so many amazing bands with awesome songs that we’d like to be able to share the music!

For the first time ever we are going to be releasing a Music Kafe compilation album.

But how do we choose from so many bands and songs?
We will be letting the public decide!

From now until the end of September, we will be collecting submitted songs from bands and putting them online for the public to hear.

At the beginning of October we will open the voting for 4 weeks!
Get all your friends, fans and family to jump onto our website and follow the link to vote online, and the top 10 most voted tracks will be chosen to be on the CD.
The Music Kafe reserves the right to quality control of music on the album.

All it will cost is $10 to submit your song and you can be in the running to be featured.

We will be holding a countdown party to announce the winners, and then a launch party once the CD has been produced!

If you are chosen, you will have to be available to play at the countdown and launch parties and for publicity and showcasing as required, within reason.
Copies of the CD will be available for sale from The Music Kafe for $5, complete with a Music Kafe branded sleeve, that includes all band’s name, song name and MySpace details, and you can re-sell them at whatever price you like.

You will be able to submit recorded quality tracks only.

Enter now! Send an email to info@themusickafe.com and we will send you details on how you can be part of this amazing opportunity!
