"People are you ready to TESTiFY! 'Jupiter's Child' return from their underground hiatus with their most solid and awesome line-up ever!!, they are currently finishing a single and b-side (+clip) as we sit. Their fusion of psyched-out rock and driving back-beat swagger is honest in it's intent and surreal in it's execution and one which has left me reeling from every show i've witnessed." Hellmut Wolf(Blue Pie Productions) >>>
Founding member Alejandro Adams with Luke Bolton and Andrew Braidner are the 3 mind's which collectively make "JUPiTERS CHiLD". Together they write all the songs contributing ideas on bass, drums guitars and keys respectively. >>>
Before this line-up of J.C., Ale' has been full-time musician playing drums/guitar in all of Melb's premier venues behind many diverse and well respected artists. His first self produced Ep.(New Soul Intervention) which was recorded entirely himself received a solid playing on Pbs fm and the song:"Cost of Love" got more than a few spins nationally on JJJ fm. Some interest from a certain US management company triggered Ale' into the search for musicians to complete a live line-up. Upon the sudden onstage self combustion of his then third drummer, Ale' Hooked up fellow session muso's Clare Whitcombe (Symbiosis) ..keys/synth-bass and Rick McCahn(Bob Spencer band) on drums to record his 2nd Ep. This contained the track "Tonight" which was featured on on the underground UK music-zine "Bad Acid" >>>
The live shows were going well but it was hard to get the focus from these highly demanded musicians that the project required. Feeling a change was in order, Ale' put out his feelers and was recruited by the "Inches" after their drummer left for the 'Galvatrons'. Fresh from a (arrghm) amicable split from Sony "The Inches" spent last year on tour recouping costs of an Album that went into the tens of thousands! >>>
This is where Ale' struck a chord with bassist Luke, From what they tell me it was on the end of a sydney leg, where the two ransacked the tour van and continued on a 'fear and loathing' style expedition towards 'Tamworth Country Music Festival?', recruiting original Inches skins-man Mac G, along the way. They both found that they had an uncanny taste and attitude towards music, and what they wanted to create. >>>
With Luke having being impressed with Ale's guitar skills on an impromptu instrument swap and Ale' being blown out at Luke's musical presence and energy, they booked some time at a friends studio out in the country, (dairy shed studios) with nothing in mind but a good time, they wrote and recorded a song that first jam, "Let it go" which their mate 'Will' (Central Vision Studios) whipped up a clip for(check youtube below).
Unfortunately their partner in crime Mac G. had already booked tix to work over in Hong Kong and was due to depart... >>>
This is where colleague Joe Cope(Hello Morning) suggested fellow music student at box hill Tafe Andy Braidner to take up skins, So work began on new tracks, with the help of Dave @ Strawberry field studio's & Josh Abraham at Fishtank studio's. Two new tracks have been made available for download; "Why Can't we fly" & the epic, "Live to die." enjoy.....
