Struggling comic book artist Quentin LaRouge was living in blissful obscurity somewhere in the darkest regions of Tavistock when he was bitten by a radioactive cow named Bruce (an abomination created for military research by the evil King corporation). Physically transformed by his encounter, LaRouge was imparted with the strength of the cow, mightiest of all herbivores, along with three additional stomach’s (which although novel proved ultimately to be useless). Adopting the persona of his own superhero creation ‘The General’; Bovine commands the kind of respect due only to an individual wielding 4 nipples and a high powered submachine gun.
Abilities: Strength of a cow, master of throws, holds and weapons

Captain Courageous - Vocals, Rhythm Guitar
Age: 169
Nationality: Kraptonian (alien)
An alcoholic deadbeat on his home world, captain courageous was forced to leave planet Krapton when rock music was outlawed. Realising that on earth his abilities would make him a superhero and that it would probably be considerably easier to pick up girls, captain courageous adopted our planet as his own. If Bovine is the father of the justice force 5, courageous is undoubtedly it’s (albeit gender confused) mother.
Abilities: Flight, Super Strength, Heat Vision.
Weakness: Kraptonite (an incredibly poisonous rock from planet Krapton, not to be confused with Krääptonite, a budget cooking sauce from Germany)
Bo Diggity - Backing Vocals, Lead Guitar
Age: 97 and 27
Nationality: English and American
Byron Wallace was a bluesman in the Mississippi delta when he sold his soul to the devil for a sandwich. When the devil pointed out that his soul was potentially worth more than a single sandwich Byron raised his bid to include a sandwich, unholy guitar skills, the strength of ten men, $7.20 and an additional sandwich. For some inexplicable reason his spirit is currently being channelled by a tall lanky ginger white man from Kidderminster. In joining the justice force 5 he brings them neatly into accordance with the 1995 superheroes equal opportunities act.
Abilities: Strength of ten men, Black man trapped in a white man’s body.
Weaknesses: White Women.
Age: 26/-974
Nationality: English (New Old York)
Dr. Amazing is a scientist from the year 3008, in his timeline the justice force 5 are recognized as the single most important social and political movement of the 21st century, and their music is responsible for the reformation of society. Realising as he grew older that he bore a startling resemblance to the groups keyboard player, he built a time machine and travelled back in time to join the fight for justice on the ground floor.
Abilities: Scientific Genius, early stages of telepathy and telekinesis, favours using his inventions instead of powers.
Weakness: Haemorrhoids
El Vampiro Diablo - Bass, Backing Vocals
Age: Unknown
Nationality: Mexican
A Mexican wrestling vampire, El Vampiro Diablo’s life before the justice force 5 is something of a mystery. A formidable fighter he is not hindered by sunlight so long as he applies an advanced factor 5000 “mark II doctor brew” sun block made for him by doctor amazing. Speaking a bastardised vampiric version of Spanish, and decked out in Lucha Libre wrestling garb many minions have made it their last and most painful mistake to underestimate El Vampiro.
Abilties: Enhanced strength and speed, sticks to walls, can summon flame.
Weaknesses: The sun, Inability to enter abode without prior invitation.
Judgement Dave - Drums
Age: 23
Nationality: English (midlands)
When his wife was struck and killed by an ice cream truck hi-jacked by the organ grinders monkey minions, Dave Darkner swore a life of revenge. The only member of the justice force 5 not to possess any super powers, Judgement Dave is driven purely by vengeance, and the fact that he’s just double-hard. Touched by his wife’s unwavering faith in humanity, Judgement Dave affords his victims one single chance to redeem themselves before passing judgement upon them.
Abilities: Is Double-hard
Weakness: Ice Cream, Ice cream trucks and the song green sleeves.
The Organ Grinder - Arch Nemesis
Age: 1 ½
Nationality: Lab
The Organ Grinder is the result of a failed experiment by the King corporation to perfect superhuman cloning technology. One of the scientists involved in the experiment had the bright idea of manipulating his DNA to allow him to absorb information at 1000 times the normal human rate and then allowed him unrestricted access to the internet so that he could absorb all the information of an adult human within a matter of days. Without the moral guidelines of a parent figure and tainted by a source of information that is almost entirely comprised of violence and pornography, the clone quickly went utterly insane and used the scientists own technology against them, transforming them into the first of many human-monkey hybrids that act as his henchmen. Twisted with rage he is beyond dangerous and has made it his lifelong mission to destroy General Bovine and the Justice Force 5.
Abilities: Has strength to match that of Bovines, super intelligence
Weakness: A penchant for showmanship means he always takes the most impressive actions over the most effective.

Like all great story’s, this one begins with a half man half cow hybrid. Victim of a tragic accident, General Bovine spent years trying to find meaning in his new existence. Too human to live amongst cows, too cow to live amongst humans, he retreated from society and hid out in an abandoned warehouse where he wallowed in self pity and cursed fate for the shitty hand he had been dealt. His only comforts during this difficult time came from listening to the rock bands that played in the venue next door and an increasingly unhealthy appreciation of heavy weaponry. Finally after two years of hiding from the world he was visited by the spirit of mother rock, who informed him that his life still had great purpose. She made him custodian of the power of the five, instructing him to assemble the world’s greatest superheroes to form a band, transform the stagnant music scene and bring joy and laughter back into the hearts of the world’s children. Upon asking mother rock why it was necessary for the musicians to be superheroes she replied; “because the world needs saving, and because superheroes are fucking cool.”
