About KaosEngine .:[New line up, photos and video]:.
La storia della band inizia nel Giugno del 2001 per volontà del chitarrista Mauro "Ulag" Mancinelli (No Lost, Slaves, Feasting, Scala Mercalli, Carcazz) e del bassista Marco "Jena" Castignani ( Slaves, Scala Mercalli). Nell'Ottobre dello stesso anno si aggiungono Marco "The Game" Mancinelli alla batteria e Marco "AM" Amaolo alla voce. Dall'inizio del 2002 si inizia la stesura di pezzi propri fortemente influenzati dal Thrash anni '80 professato da Jena ed il Death dei primi '90 di cui si nutre Ulag. Nonostante l'impegno profuso le cose non vanno per il verso giusto. La band non riesce a suonare dal vivo a causa di vari problemi non dipendenti da essa stessa.
Nel Gennaio 2003 AM lascia la Band per divergenze musicali. La sorte sembra volgere dalla parte giusta finalmente, perchè nel Giugno dello stesso anno entra Gionata "Xenon" Del Gatto (Rising Nemesis) alla voce, il quale si mostra subito attivissimo, scrivendo alcuni dei testi che tuttora fanno parte del song-book dei Nostri. Ciononostante continuano i vari problemi che bloccano l'attività Live.
Nell'Agosto del 2004 entra in pianta stabile (finalmente!!!) una seconda chitarra. Il suo nome è Nicola "Glacial" Farina (Crysalys, Morkvald). Il suo stile selvaggio e “rot” giova parecchio al sound proposto, contribuendo ad allargare ulteriormente il raggio d’azione compositivo dei KaosEngine. Ben presto però arriva un’altro duro colpo alla stabilità della formazione. Nel Luglio 2005 The Game molla il gruppo per problemi personali. Nell' Agosto dello stesso anno viene trovato un nuovo sventrapelli: Alessandro "Doomtrain" Camela (Crysalys, Morkvald, Chaos A.P., Dark Rise), con il quale il cerchio viene sigillato definitivamente. Cominciano le date live ed i consensi da parte del pubblico non tardano ad arrivare.
Nel Maggio 2006 entra ai SoulSound Studios di proprietà del chitarrista Ulag, per la registrazione del loro primo lavoro:Hymn To Death. Le registrazioni si svolgono in modo molto veloce, cercando di dare al lavoro quel sound tipico dei dischi di fine ’80/ inizi ’90, senza però tralasciare troppo l’intelligibilità delle singole parti.
Attualmente la Band è alla ricerca di un valido contratto discografico/distribuzione.
The band was born on June 2001 by the guitarist, Mauro “Ulag” Mancinelli (No Lost, Slaves, Feasting, Scala Mercalli, Carcazz), and the bass-player, Marco “Jena” Castignani (Slaves, Scala Mercalli).
In the current year, on October, Marco “The Game” Mancinelli and Marco “Am” Amaolo join the band: the first one as drummer, the second one as vocalist.
From early 2002, they started to compose original music and lyrics, clearly influenced by 80’s thrash metal, loved by Jena, and early 90’s death metal, “Ulag’s food”.
Despite the hard work the band don’t go in the right way, they didn’t found any gigs for troubles never depended by the same band.
In January 2003: Am leaves the band, for musical-style disagreement.
In the same year, on June, things seem to go finally right: Gionata “Xenon” Del Gatto (Rising Nemesis) joins the band as vocalist. He’s immediately active, in fact he wrote several lyrics, still in their song-book. Although, some troubles continue to stop their live activities.
On August 2004 a second fixed guitarist joins the band. The name of the new member is Nicola “Glacial” Farina (Crysalys, Morkvald); his innovative, wild and rotting style is very useful to the sound proposed by the members of the old line-up: by Nicola, KaosEngine can widen their music interests and a stream of new sound starts to be suggested.
Their stability’s going to shake up soon: on July 2005 The Game, cause personal troubles, leaves the band, anyway on August a new drummer’s found: Alessandro “Doomtrain” Camela (Crysalys, Morkvald, Chaos A.P., DarkRise). The circle is definitively sealed.
They start to have their first gigs and good feedback from the kids.
On May 2006, an important step: KaosEngine recorded their first work, named “Hymn To Death”, at Ulag’s “Soul Sound Studios”.
Recording were very quick, to give to their work the typical sound and grain of late 80’s/early 90’s albums, but maintaining intelligibility of each element.
Now KaosEngine are searching for a contract with a good record/distribution label.
