First, let us say that we're glad you've taken the time read a bit about us. It may sound needlessly cordial, but it does mean a lot to us.
The name of this band is The Kelps.
We consist of Tony Reyes, Cory Barringer, and Cameron Betts. Cory sings and plays guitar with a true, soulful want, Cameron hurts himself with the bass, and Tony plays the drums like an animal, not a machine.
We are a blues influenced "indie" rock band, but we in no way want to say we are limited by such a moniker. Music isn't confined by genres. Music isn't confined by audience. Music shouldn't be confined at all. Any musician that wears the title proudly can wear it anywhere, into any fold and through any brand. The trick is to not be controlled by them.
