Influences
Olivia Newton John the last ten minutes of "Grease". Went in with a voice like Peter Brady, came out talking like Barry White.....
The Kelsey Outrage is a New York based rock band with an original style and sound. While growing up with various major influences from Dylan, Neil Young, Springsteen and U2... the band can also be found listening to anything from Metallica to John Prine, thus creating an interior atmosphere while writing music to allow our songs to take their own direction and not inject them with a pre-determined preference in taste. After a year and a half restructuring, we have managed to emerge insipred yet again, and after writing a few dozen songs during this period we are currently recording them and hopefully they will be available soon for all interested. The Outrage came from blue collar middle class railroad towns and above all other music it is that which influences us even more. We hope you enjoy the songs, thank you for your support......

Here are a few rough cuts of some tunes we're working on :) Let us know what you think, thanks!
I looked up The Kelsey Outrage to show a friend what my ancestor Royal Sammis did, and I found you guys. Your music is awesome! And it's cool that you guys used to practice by the cabin, before it was torn down. Keep up the awesome music!
All hail.Wowsa wowsa. Love your space by the way. Keep on keepin on. Music taste is sound as pound underground. Which is a ridiculous rhyme. Merci beaucoup for the add and your interest. I thought you might like to know that I have posted new videos for fusion mixes. One of our latest is a killer mix called Computer Talk ft Coldplay & Kraftwerk. We paid a consultant millions to come up with that ingenious title! Millions of salt granules. We've mashed, smashed and bashed up some monster mixes sampling the likes of Coldplay, Kraftwerk, Leona Lewis, Rhianna, Pixies, Gallows and Muse. More fusion tomfoolery is on the myspace which is being updated with new tunes and vids regularly. Check it out if you want. The latest video Love Me Or Hate Starlight ft Muse and Lady Sovereign is posted below. Or would be if html was allowed... sorry. Our latest mix is Omen Epic ft Prodigy and Faith No More . It can be heard only on the SeX DwArF myspace.

There's loads of tunes to screw with your brain cells and make you move on the myspace which is being updated with new tunes and vids regularly. Let us know what you think. Love and Peace. SeXDwArF. And remember...don't do genre. It's stereotype by another name.
Thank you for your kind words and comments! Its really something wonderful to fathom all the talent here. Stay strong in doing all you love! And please feel free to keep in touch and drop me a message or a comment anytime you'd like. Keep me updated on what's up and how you're doing.

Funny how I saw this quote after running into several very hurting people this week. I tell ya, these quotes FIND ME! So, I thought I'd pass it along;
"Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle." ~Plato Guess a few thousand years passing after he said that doesn't change anything, people are still fighting hard battles. I will show more compassion. :)
I've got a new track called "The Way You Look Tonight", I'd love it if you came by and gave it a spin!

"Cocaine spiders run your memory on down, I'm thinking of you babe on my way out of town, Five shots to go on a six shot run, I'll stay my story true back to where I begun..."
~From The Way You Look Tonight by Amadeo L. Gauthier

Kelsey, I have my bad moments too, but I think this one is going to turn out all right...
BTW, have you seen my website discussion board at http://www.barryeisler.com/forum? It's a fun forum with a lot of interesting people from all over the world talking about the Rain Fall movie (recently wrapped shooting in Tokyo and NYC), the next book, writing, politics, single malt whisky, and anything else that strikes people's fancy, and we do a monthly chat on writing, too, so if you have a chance, stop by and say hello. It would be good to see you there...
Respectola to your myspace. Thanks for the add and interest. Love what you have going on here. Very cool and well put together. Sounds cool. Looks cool. Stop making me look bad! Stop it. Stop it now. As we are good at being very cringeingly grovelly, we suggest you try out our fusion mixes and videos including one featuring the Beastie Boys and the Pixies and another with the vox of US Number One Leona Lewis. One we have given you a sneak preview of (below) is a radical combo of Rihanna with an infusion of Peter, Bjorn and John. Rebooted, filtered, animated, shaken, cut, pasted, shown to Michael Jackson who said eee heeel, smashed with a great hammer, deconstructed and turned into Young Folks with Umbrella. Well it would be if you had not stopped html. Bad bad bad. Another newey mixes Coldplay and Kraftwerk and if that's not enough there's a new tune called Scooby Mama which moulds Fun Lovin Criminals to a Scissor Sisters. Watch out for our SeXDwArF v The Cure v Tori Amos tune which is almost ready to be unleashed.
We would also recommend the Lauryn Hill v Marvin Gaye fusion. If it don't move ya yo dead. The myspace is getting new tunes and vids regularly. So let us know what you think. One thing's for sure it will mess with your grey matter. Signing off till next time. Love and Peace. Sex Dwarf. And remember...don't do genre. It's stereotype by another name.
