In the growing age of the up and coming singer songwriter, very few artists possess the natural ability to relay emotions directly through a song with such fluid lyrical fashion. Kevin Cochran began writing songs at the age of 15 and after years of touring, performances, and numerous notable accomplishments recorded his 2nd full length album, , SAME STORY DIFFERENT DAY, in the Winter of 2007.
If notoriety and industry attention was what Kevin was seeking from his 2008 winter tour, the Chicago native accomplished that task. The smooth and relatable acoustic sound has landed Kevin on the same stage and musical playbills with other industry artists, such as Pink, O.A.R., Ari Hest, George Clinton, just to name a few.
Recent satelite radio and Itunes success has encouraged Kevin to get back into the studio and set out on yet another Winter Tour in 2009.
Voted by the students of Indiana University as best local band and vocalist, Kevin Cochran moved on to play coast to coast, satelite and terrestrial radio, and still continues to write and record ageless acoustic harmonies today. Similar to the likes of today's artists James Morrison and Jason Mraz, with a folk style comparable to that of David Gray, Kevin delivers soothing melodies and catchy lyrical tandems sure to keep you addicted to his sound.
With music already featured on 3 movie soundtracks and VHI, Kevin now prepares to tour in preparation for his third album due out in the Spring of 2009.
