Slingblade, The Tao of Steve, Angelheart, Office Space, Sideways, Swingers, The Shining, A Clockwork Orange, American Psycho, High Fidelity, & Wild at Heart.
With special consideration to A Mighty Wind, Spinal Tap, and Best of Show!

Television
The Simpsons, The Soup, Reno 911, The Travel Channel, The Comedians of Comedy, Seinfeld reruns, Drawn Together, The King of Queens, anything about ghosts/lost civilizations/elusive beasts, and assorted creatures of the night. Everyday Italian, Good Eats, E News, VH1 Pop Culture whatevers, Bands Reunited, and Entourage. This makes it seem like I watch a lot of TV, but that isn't really true. If I do, it's out of boredom when I'm staying in WV working in PGH. When I'm in LA, I rarely watch TV. I'd rather be at the beach, at The Dresden,...or Bar Sinister.

I'm a big Henry Miller fan. I also like James Joyce. But I just tend to read career oriented material, lately. Sad, but true.
Heroes
I find inspiration in people with consistency of character, a tough yet peaceful spirit, and compassion for our fellow humans. So that leaves out the entire BUSH administration, I guess.
I'm an actor, with a relatively extensive music background. I have 3 full length releases of original music. I also engineer and produce.

yeah, been working my ass off. I've been planning shoots for me, and setting up shoots for me and my partner's studio. I just joined a photography studio and was made partner/ board member/ art director. So, I'm scouting models, and basically anyone who needs photography. Musicians, family portraits, party pics, events, baby pics... and so on, ya know lather, rinse, repeat... Then staying on the road a lot with my daughter and trying to keep her straight. Trying not to lose my mind.
I totally agree with you. I've been thinking about the wreck last week and how the families are dealing with it. My weekend was spent honoring a man who had an unusually long and wonderful life, but when a young life is cut short by tragedy, it's hard for me to get my head around it. Are you back in Nola?
I'm ok, but miss your constant insite and words of wisdom and optimisim(sp?)..... you know me, just cause I found something I want to stick with, doesn't mean I will and doesn't mean I'm not going through absolute hell to try n keep it.... you know how shit works.... still dealing with cancer shit, on top of everything else... my life is great one day and feels like its all colapsing on me the next.....
