An ongoing musical collaboration....
The foursome joined forces as the musical core of The Original Tough Luck Band...performing extensively throughout the Greater Philadelphia area. Distance and interests called each to other directions...Frank to the rhythm and blues band Live Bait...Doug and John to the acoustic rock trio Triple Play...and Mark to the electric blues/funk power trio The Mark Furman Band. (Though Doug, Frank, and John have all performed with The Mark Furman Band in a variety of live and studio settings.) The desire to reform the "core" and create uniquely original music has brought them back together...in the guise of The Kharmacists.
The foursome's latest release, first as The Kharmacists, is "Schizophonic"...an eclectic blend of original music which reconnects them to their electric blues roots while exploring sonic influences and horizons.
The Kharmacists' "Schizophonic" is available for download at http://cdbaby.com/cd/kharmacists.
