The King Billy pub is a well established Rock and Biker pub; it has the feel of an old traditional pub, with wooden floors and barrels as tables. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming; the locals are a bit strange but harmless enough.
The pub offers an extensive food menu and food is served lunchtimes & evenings
The King Billy is also known for its quality choice of real ales; choose from 7 in the winter months and 10 real ales in the summer.
The real ales are conditioned to CaskMaster clear quality and guest ales change weekly.
Live music is an integral part of the soul of the Billy; we offer original Rock, Metal and Punk on a Thursday, and Rock and Metal cover bands on Fridays and Saturdays.
We have a brilliant smoking area. big double doors open out onto a heated veranda area with bar stools and tables, from here you dont loose the atmosphere of the pub and can still see the live bands. there is also an outside pool table so you can still smoke and play pool. Horray.
There is a large, paved Beer Garden behind the pub, and we have a number of Nationally recognised Bike events in our calendar, as well as music festivals and Charity Events.
NEW LOOK THURSDAYS ............we love original bands and will continue hosting original band nights that are open to new up and coming original bands, on the last Thursday of the month.
