About me: The Majestic Kingdom of Avalon is a Medieval/Fantasy group located in Suffolk County, Long Island NY. Our Realm's scope of re-creation covers the history of pre-17th Century back to Creation. We dabble in numerous elements from the world of fantasy, including, but in no way limited to: Tolkien, Arthurian, Asgardian, Roman, Shakespearean, and More! Here, it would not be uncommon to clash blades with Strider the Ranger, to face a Jedi Knight in a duel, to dodge the arrows of Robin of Locksley, to learn firsthand the ancient ways of Merlin, or to spend the evening feasting with Knights of the Round Table!
In Avalon, one can be practically anyone they wish. Unlike LARP groups which center around the acquisition of experience in a modular setting, it is character expression and personal aesthetics, such as garb, makeup, and props, that sets one above the rest.
The Majestic Kingdom of Avalon holds 2 events per month. It is at these gatherings that the people of Avalon engage in much entertainment and revelry including, but not limited to...
*Boffer Combat, including Woods Battles, Field Skirmishes, Bridge Charges, Maze Gauntlets, Gladiatorial Clashes, Noble Pas de Arms on the King's List
*Bardic Performances
*Period Arts and Sciences
*Royal Courts
*Sumptuous Banquets
*Challenging Games and Competitions
*Chivalric Vigils and Ceremonies
...and other forms of revelry that makes the Age of Historic Past and the Legends of Fantasy so wonderful to re-create! Come join the Majestic Kingdom of Avalon and escape to a world only thought possible in the Realm of Dreams!
the king! Bravely sporting his unmentionable gear during the greatest storm the world is yet to know. He should really lighten up, right? there's no need to be so gloomy all the time...!
when the whole of our great new Keep is completed, no Avalonian shall ever wonder what the word home means again! So long as yee sling pizza and jerk sodas for the man, that is!
ok, I don't know why you did it, but ok, why is the background image a bright ass picture that you can hardly read text over?! Do you have no sense of color contrast or anything of the sort?! Why have people strain there eyes trying to read this! The image I had was just a picture I made in 2 minuets but seriously use just a single picture, centred, that you are able to read text easily over, make it look somewhat professional, not like a 13 year old made this space
