Whatever you want us to sound like. We play everything from beautiful classical music to modern, contemporary and jazz. We can also arrange pretty much anything. The quartet have been known to cover Guns n' Roses and Black Sabbath!!
Since forming in Kingston-upon-Thames in 1999, the Kingston Quartet are fast becoming one of Londons best known string quartets.
Initially the quartet formed in order to perform concerts of some of the greatest works for string quartet (including Beethoven, Smetana, Elgar) and now they regularly perform at concerts, weddings and functions across London and the South East.
In recent years the quartet have performed at The Barbican, The Mansion House (for the Lord Mayor of London and HRH The Countess of Wessex), The Royal Academy of Arts, The Fairfield Halls and Hampton Court Palace. They also recently performed for The Last Tuesday Society at the Last Gasp Masked Ball in Adam Street.
The quartet perform a mixture of classical music right through to modern, contemporary and jazz. As well as live performances the quartet are also available for any session work and recordings.
