The Mission of The Kitchen, Inc. is "to create a place where persons, especially the poor, are welcomed and cared for with dignity and compassion."
The Kitchen, Inc. is a local organization that provides homeless and homeless prevention services to lower-income and homeless residents of the Springfield, Missouri community. All contributions are utilized for the betterment of The Kitchen's services and programs.
The overall goal is to provide services which will allow residents to become self-sufficient and maintain independence. Services include food, clothing, shelter, case management, counseling, children's services, youth services, education, life skills training, job skills training, medical care and dental care.
