Una nueva etapa
The Kluba nace como idea de Juantxo Skalari. Que después de más de 600 conciertos por diversas partes de el mundo, más de 10 años de carrera y 6 discos, decide continuar su andadura musical por esta nueva vía.
The Kluba recuerda a Skalariak, pero aporta una nueva sabia, con una perspectiva musical más amplia, una concepción diferente de banda, y una puesta en escena para el directo que marcará dos pasos: espectáculo y originalidad.
Sus influencias son diversas, pero podemos destacar tres grupos: The Clash, Stray Cats y The Pogues. A lo que debemos añadir un aire melódico jamaicano que JSK (Juantxo Skalari Kluba) respira de forma natural desde sus inicios.
En cuanto a la lírica, podemos decir que la poesía se adueña de los Kluba, pero en una vertiente cotidiana e incluso callejera. Poesía, anti-poesía, intimismo, mensaje….
*¡¡¡EL NUEVO DISCO YA A LA VENTA!!!
Éste ha sido el séptimo disco de su carrera. El sexto de estudio.
Desde el 2005 no gravaba un disco de estudio. Serán 4 años los que hemos tenido que esperar para poder escuchar nuevas canciones. Tiempo suficiente, para poder brindar con los nuevos himnos del ahora “The Kluba”.
En el nuevo tour 2009 y bajo el nombre de THE KLUBA, a JSK le acompañan Marqués de Sarries (Guitarra), Xavi Jamaica, Joan Butxaca (Bateria), Xavi Macaya (Violín/trombón) y Pep (Trompeta).
Hasta el momento han sido una veintena de ciudades y festivales las que han probado en directo el nuevo sonido "Rude-Rock" (Iruña, Gasteiz, Barcelona, Cuenca, Guadalajara, Festival Viñarock, Logroño, Lumbreiras Rock, Mes que Rock Fest, Girona... ).
Empiezan además a llegar las buenas críticas y los artículos en prensa donde se destaca esta nueva perspectiva de ver la música. De hecho, The Kluba ya puede contar con la primera portada (Revista "Pack de So" nº 97)

A new stage
The Kluba is born as an idea by Juantxo Skalari. After over 600 shows around the world and more than 10 years of career and 6 records, decides to go on with his musical adventure through this new way.
The Kluba reminds Skalariak, but brings new blood, with a wider musical perspective, a different conception of the band, and a staging for the live shows that will underline two aspects: spectacle and originality.
It has different influences, but we can stress three bands: The Clash, Stray Cats and The Pogues. And we must add to all of it a Jamaican melodic air that JSK (Juantxo Skalari Kluba) breaths from the beginnings.
Referring to lyrics, we can say that poetry takes hold of The Kluba, but in an everyday aspect, and even from the streets. Poetry, anti-poetry, intimism, message…

Released April 2009
This will be the seventh record of his career. The sixth one in studio.
Since 2005 he didn’t record in a Studio. We’ve had to wait 4 years to listen to the new songs. Enough time to be able to toast with the new hymns of “The Kluba”.
The skeleton of the band in tour 2009 is formed by X.Jamaica (Double-Bass), J.Butxaca (Drum) and Marquès de Sarries (Guitar). And Xavi Macaya (Violin/ Trombone), and Pep (trompet)
The recording of this new work took place in Garate Studios (Andoáin) between 20 December and 15 February 2009. The producer went Kaki Arakarazo, as he was doing with Skalariak from 2001.
