The Knott have been rocking the west of the UK since about May 2006. Now with a solid, static line-up and a seemingly unstoppable creative drive, the band have been making people sit up and take notice so for in 2008 with their unique brand of melodic rock at every possible opportunity.
2007 was a very positive year for The Knott closing with a series of shows including memorable performances at the Angelsey Bike Show and SugarHill Festival and including support slots to up-and-coming bands such as The Skies and Fortune Drive as well as more established acts (Lord Bishop to name but one).
2008 is destined to be even greater. With only 3 months under their belt with the current line-up, The Knott have been causing local media and press sit up and take notice of them, not least due to their "Best Band Runner Up" title in the Southwest Regional Finals of the Live & Unsigned competition. This has not only produced The Knott's first TV appearance but more recently, a Vodafone Live Music Award nomination!
