The Korrupt

What can we tell you about The Korrupt that you don’t already know? We’re just like you, or maybe we’re not just like you. We don’t even know who you are so we would be lying if we said you were like anyone in this band. Let’s hope for your sake you're nothing like the bass player. We like to think that The Korrupt is similar to a sausage. The individual ingredients, taken separately are somewhat useless and even grotesque. However, when you mix all of the ingredients together and add a little spice, you’ve got yourself some serious meat! As lead singer for The Korrupt, Derek Drake is the spice that takes The Korrupt from being a collection of unwanted beef and pork by-products and makes it, well, something wonderful. Unexpected combinations of rock with some groove, pop and a little soul will take you by surprise and leave you saying to yourself, “I am not sure what that was, I think it’s clogging my arteries, but I definitely want some more”.
