If I had one wish, it would be that everyone could see the world as a child again. Every moment, every sight, every interaction a new adventure. Each experience untainted with prejudice, apprehension, and apathy. Everyone would approach life with the curiosity and joy of discovery we have all long forgotten. That kind of world would truly be one I would want to live in.
Everywhere I look I see reflections and distortions. If my world is not filled with color, it is filled with contrast. There's never a dull way to see things in this world I live in. The day I decided to pick up a camera was not just a personal journey to see the world differently. It became a quest to tear a few others out of the drab, boring rhythm of daily life along with me. I am here to show you what I've done to make my life worth living, using the tool that has saved me from my depression; my camera. My photography, above all else, is about living.

Live music is my escape. Somewhere between the sweat dripping into my eyes and the camera full of photographs, I feel alive. It's in those moments when the bass is pounding and the sound is vibrating through my body where I am truly happy. Those are the moments that I live for. For lots of kids out there, music becomes a similar escape. A wise musician once told me that what kind of music you love does not matter, what matters is that we all love music. I firmly believe that the love of music can bring us all together. Join me by supporting your local bands, and going to underground shows. It's the basements and back yards where the magic takes flight!

Happy Holidays! Just letting you know about our annual holiday show and some of the shows coming up in the new year, check it out...
So it's that time of year again, and our annual holiday show is approaching pretty quickly! This year, on December 28th, come hang out with The Composure, Team Goldie, The I Drive, Koji & many more! There will be a lot of surprises, so make sure you come out!
With the holiday show wrapping up 2009, i thought i would give you a heads up about 2010! Starting out January on the 12th is Every Avenue, The Audition, The Summer Set, This Time Next Year, Sparks The Rescue and Ian Walsh! Talk about a show! The following week on the 17th is Between The Trees, Rookie Of The Year, The Great American Soundtrack, Storm The Beaches, and a whole slew of local bands! Ending the month on January 29th is The Friday Night Boys, Anarbor, The Ready Set, and The Bigger Lights,
There is a lot in the works for February too, a bunch of cool tours, some old favorites and a Valentines Day/Local show, so get excited for those too!

Vanna, Therefore I Am & A Loss For Words are coming through next week, December 1st, on the This Is New England Tour! These are some of the hardest working bands on the East coast, so come out and support! Where There's A Will & Vision To None are opening this killer show too!! Then the following week on December 12 there is the second $5 local show! Jimmy Mowery, Terrible Minds, On The Run, A Few Inches Short & many many more! It's five bucks, there's no excuse not to come!

Hey guys, just a quick reminder about the shows we have coming up,
Can you believe it's November already?! Next week, November 13th, The Dangerous Summer, Mercy Mercedes, Between The Trees, Single File & The Goodnight Anthem all return on The AbsolutePunk.net Fall Tour! Then the following week, on the 21st, is the first of many $5 all local shows. These will be on the weekends so everyone can come and be cheap so everyone can afford them. The reason for these is, i feel like there is a pretty big lack of unity within our music scene lately. I remember the days of $5 shows, when i first started going to shows. Everyone was singing the words to every one of the local bands songs, free burnt cds so you could learn those words, bbq's, cd swaps, pickup games of whatever sport was around, and a most importantly a sense of unity. This is as cheap as they are gonna get people, so come to a show! Lastly we have Vanna, Therefore I Am & A Loss For Words coming through on December 1st on the This Is New England Tour! More local shows are in the works as well as the annual holiday show. New tours for early next year too, don't blink!

This fall holds some really amazing shows! Starting out October is A Rocket To The Moon and The Summer Set on the 6th, and The Chariot and Oh, Sleeper on the 13th! The Halloween show is set for the 28th, all your favorite local bands will be playing, there's going to be free candy, best costume prizes, and a whole lot more! More info on that is coming this week, so sit tight. November has a lot in the works still, and we will get to that next time, but The Wonder Years and Energy are starting out the month on the 4th! Oh and that "Punk Rock Flea Market" i mentioned is still in the works, just taking a little longer than i thought.

To kick off September and the start of the school year Stereo Skyline is coming back with internet sensation The Ready Set on the 13th, Alesana is also back with The Bled and Enter Shikari on the 20th, and then Conditions and Go Crash Audio are finishing out the month on the 26th!
For October we just confirmed A Rocket To The Moon and The Summer Set for the 6th, and The Chariot and Oh, Sleeper on the 13th. There will also be some sort of Halloween show too, and a "Punk Rock Flea Marker", those are in the works.
