Jonny Johnson, the high-energy frontman of The Krush, is unafraid of embarassing himself on stage to make a good show. His lack of self-consciousness combined with his love of performing make him a frontman with enough energy to power a small city.
Dan Wheeler - Great FINGERING Technique/Backing Vox/Harmonica/Beards
Just one man with a Les Paul. Dan Wheeler is the inspirational fountain of the band, coming up with new riffs and tunes on a regular basis. The creator, almost on his own, of the ballad-styled "Last Chance."
Joe Matthews - Guitar/More Hair/Powerstance
>
The newest addition to The Krush, Joe was a longtime friend of the band, and when Anthony departed, Joe, with his vast knowledge of guitar, seemed the obvious and perfect choice to take up the torch. We hope you like him!
Phil Boothman - Lead Bass/Backing Vocals/Saxophone/Witty Banter
The bassist that comes with a basketful of attitude, Phil's stage presence as a bassist is unrivaled. Simple but driving basslines combine with stage tricks and flourishes to make one hell of a performer.
The other half of The Krush's driving rhythm section, Tom provides the essential timing of every one of the band's numbers. Quick as a flash on the drums, and a great sense of rhythm.

Nothing you've ever heard before...an eclectic mix of rock, blues, reggae, ska, rock 'n' roll and any other genre you could care to mention
With this bizarre mixture of different genres as our influences, you can expect to hear something you've never truly heard before when you watch The Krush live!
Currently, The Krush are into their third year of creating musical fusion together, and in the whole time we’ve been together we’ve never been more successful. 2005 saw the beginning of The Krush, but it wasn’t until March 2006 that the band truly began to come into their own in a live situation.
2006 was an eventful year for the band, with a number of small-scale gigs that were successful nonetheless, and not long after, they joined forces with the genius that is producer Jack Guppy to record new songs with him.
The end of 2006 saw the band having recorded two songs and hopefully with more on the way.
2007 has gotten off to an action-packed start for The Krush, seeing the band open their year with a truly spectacular performance at Buk and Skit Battle of the Bands, and a possibility of more high-profile gigs to come.
Stay tuned for new studio recordings and a lot more gigs - it seems as though 2007 will truly be the year of The Krush.
Also, we owe everything to the fans. We will do anything to keep them happy, and those fans deserving special mentions are our number one girl and guy groupies, Sarah Newman and James "Brini" Brinicombe. The Krush would not be the same without them.

Hope you don’t mind this promotional comment, sorry if you do :)
'Broken Record Tactics' is a fun little record for fans of Cartel and The Starting Line. If you're in the mood for some chirpy, melodic pop-punk with a bit of a rockier edge, you could do a lot worse than to check them out.' - Punktastic.com
