From the haunting opening strains of “Through Me” to the glorious finale of “Beatrice”, The Kybosh’s mini-album “Until We Are Lost” documents a journey into darkness and back.
Influenced by Dante’s The Divine Comedy and the drawings of Gustave Doré, The Kybosh have created a work that stands as a whole, a story that continues through the music, the lyrics and the artwork, painting the modern world as a dark forest in which we must lose ourselves.
‘Not till we are lost…can we learn to reawaken, and keep ourselves awake by an infinite expectation of the dawn, which does not forsake us in our soundest sleep.’ – Henry David Thoreau
‘Until We Are Lost’ follows 2007’s critically lauded ‘Rubicon’ and promises to expand further upon their progressive and captivating debut.
The album will be available to buy in Tower Records, Road Records, musicmail.ie, and from iTunes and www.downloadmusic.ie.
The mini-album release is preceded by the title track, ‘Until We Are Lost’, released as a download single available from www.downloadmusic.ie or by texting music 1565 to 57501
