It is truly a thing of beauty, watching & listening to a ladybird performance.
I cannot say enough on your behalf when I try to elaborate on your sound to anyone ignorant of the amazingness that is lbu.
It's almost a spiritual thing for me, listening to the music when you're playing a show-the energy, the substance, the heart, the fire... ah... it enthralls my soul. I can barely concentrate on anything outside of the music, from clicking a button to basic speech, I just wanna shut the world off and absorb the awesomeness. I realize that may seem a little over the top, but you know me, always a bit on the eccentric side. anyhow, thank you, thank you, thank you, from the depths of my music-loving being, thank you for spinning my head around with the thoughtful & enigmatic pieces that come forth from that unknown source, some deadly combination of artistry, the pooled supply of ohfuckingindescribableness, that driving force of inspiration, that command of some exponentially mysterious emotive might that escapes so many others. it's pure. & ingenious. & I love it.
oh, funny thing, I had an unexpected double bird dose off of 88.1 the other day. So, I'm driving home, radio on, but not really paying attention, when I hear the the familiar strains of a song I recognize & love, so I'm like, sweet, & I go to crank it as high as my stock stereo'll allow, when suddenly it hits me that I'm hearing run faster horse NOT on my own cd, but on the radio! so I'm stoked, unrolling the windows, wanting to shout at total strangers to turn to the channel, singing all the while, super permagrinned out, annnnnd that's not all, the very next day, driving home from the job again, and it happened again! dif times, dif days, 88.1 hit the people up with the ladybird cuts. yep. so I thought I'd letcha know that y'all are gettin airplay! yeah baby yeah!
great show! who was the fantastic band that played right before you guys? This was my first show sober and It makes me wish I was more coherent for all the other ones in the past. Bravo! Do you guys have a new album available? if so how do i go about finding a copy?
That was tight. Got to hear some new tunes. They rock, can't wait to see it again. Spent all our money on beer that night didn;t have a chance to get merch. How do I get some?
