Sounds Like
a shadow from a plane flying so high you can barely see it racing across cities and plains, that scares a dog, that runs into a table with a glass on it, that spills into a shape that reminds you of something else.
Hi, we're the Lag, your friendly neighborhood post-everything band with magical powers surpassing maybe even a unicorn. We met each other mostly through the Bay Area's seedy rave underground, except for the one guy we found on Craigslist who is from another continent and talks "different" and eats vegemite. We'd tell you what we sound like, but there's some examples right above this stupid bio. We'd tell you what other bands we like, but we already put that in our influences section and I don't think we sound like most of them. Some of them might not even like what we do. So it's not that important. What is important is that we keep doing what we do, otherwise we'd stop. Oh, and our live shows slay. We have a fun time, and people come up and tell us "wow, I had a fun time". How is that bad?
Looking forward to the show! now you've got to reserve for your peeps or there's no gaurantee... the evite man! (limited space!) do i have your email right?
OK.. so like i'm hardcore like mondo buggin' that y'all Groovy Choonz is just hella makin' a huuuuge yummy inside burn so damn hard & brite, Hello 2Day, I Love Andy, I Love Chris, I Love TheLag!!! You 2 have manage to fuck me over inside out & over sideways like 8 times w/ your music... uuugh... i need more soda!!!
Hearing The Lag play last Saturday got me so excited I threw up. Three times. I liked it much better than "Cats." That only made me throw up once. I hope The Lag never goes back to their home on Whore Island.
The fact that you boys were able to pull off Saturday night's performance after many rounds of hard liquor (and in Chris' case, 36 hours of god-knows-what-else) speaks to either a high level of musical proficiency or a high degree of tolerance to intoxicants. I'm betting on both.
