About Lander Configurations

The lander configurations write and perform music that consists of a unique layering of sounds that intends to break through your fashionable facades and human personas and delve deep into your primal instincts. Our music is explained in terms of the english language as: ambient, atmospheric, epic, sombre, beautiful and emotional. The sounds produced couple together an expanding collective knowledge of different theories of music with a need to delve into sound experimentation by feel. It is our aim to connect to the underlying facets of the human condition that force people to appreciate the vibrations we call music and to push the boundaries of sound production with the use of conventional generic instruments. It is our belief that music really has the power to move a person who experiences a performance. We aim to be more than just another band that makes repetitive meaningless noise but rather create music that is well crafted, nurtured and sophisticated. Our music is unique in its breadth of progressions based around dense intelligent guitar, a firm bottom end and solid meditative drumming which together as a whole can lull you in, apply pressure to your chest or push you deep into your seat with climatic walls of sound.
