English born and now Vancouver based, Singer/Songwriter The Land of Deborah releases her second EP called You Are Here. These four songs with Deborah on piano, guitar and vocals along with her 3 piece band are about connections and relationships; how these put you in context with the world.
Music accompanied Deborah at all points in her life; happy, sad or in-between and through her writing she endeavors to do the same for others. The aim is to touch people on an emotional level and be a musical companion in their lives. Her songs may come from a very personal place, but everyone has been there. Everyone can relate.
However, it's not intense all the time... scattered throughout Deborah’s live performances are her personalized covers of classic 80s tracks and James Bond themes. Her version of the A-Ha's “Take On Me” can best be described as ”lounge”.
