The Lanes are a four piece band that has been rocking Brighton for years.
The Lanes music is largely Indie Dance with an upbeat groove. Gigging right across the south coast and much of London, Supporting The Inspiral Carpets, Bluetones, Complete Stone Roses, the Jamm and the Mutts to name a few. With their constant gigging, and an endless flow of new material, no two gigs can ever be the same.
Their self affirming attitude spills off the stage into the audience and breathes new life back into the phrase "a great live act"
Their aspirations as a band are to get in the heads and homes of everyone, everywhere, all over the world. (Think big).

The plan for 2009 is the ongoing quest is to go bigger and bigger and better. Since the launch of the bands Myspace page in late 2005 their exposure has grown at a phenominal rate, which of course, is nothing less than fantastic. Reaching everyone is the aim. The band are also very thankful to all those wonderful people on our friends list, and those that have left encouraging messages for them. Without you where would they be?
