    Created in 2006, The Hot-Wave's little princes dust off the 80's with a strength and an arrogance that only some drunk night in Liverpool could rival with. Their energy is based on post-punk wave rhythmics, added to melodic and percussive guitars. Lewis, the singer, coming straight from Liverpool, has an exhaustive pop culture, from Tom Jones to Robert Smith! Peter Hook's bass lines (Joy Division, New Order) are never too far and the battery loves to make you dance in the ways of mancunian rock / dance combos of the early 90's . Thus, the band finds its color between new wave, New York indie rock (The Strokes, Interpol) and vintage pop (Blur, Foals). After 2010 being marked by the release of their album "Bank Holiday" (Indelible Records / Discograph), a China tour, a bit too cramped show at the "Transmusicales" (250 people remained at the gates of an overpacked 4Bis ) and the summer festivals tour, The Lanskies went back to the studio to record an EP, "Romeo" 4 tracks (release fall 2011) they will share in the U.S in October.
