Getting to know the last encore
GAVIN-Drums (G-Spot, Canuck ,That damn Canadian )
I have been playing drums for 8 years. I started my sophomore year in high school. My influences are Pantera, Soulfly, Every time I die, Mastodon. I got into music because of my grandfather he was a conductor for 40 years, he showed me music at a very young age. I would say he is also an influence of mine. Plus I just like being loud!
KYLE -Bass (Lunchbox, Jerry Banana Fingers Jones, Velvet Fingers, Skinny Nubs, Beeper)
I was born 8-20-85 in flint Michigan. I’m influenced by many bands from local bands to Rage against the machine, Every time I die, Mastodon, early Metallica, Lamb of God, Deftones, tool as well as some sissy music like Motown and funk music, most classic rock and some old school R&B and Rap. I met Adam in fifth grade when we almost wrestled because he broke my 2! He opened my eyes to heavy music. I got my first bass at the age of 12. Adam and I jammed out R.A.T.M and Deftones covers. Then we went our separate ways for a while. Then I met Gavin in 10th grade where he blatantly lies to me about know how to play Pantera songs. Gavin and I jammed for a while and after a mastodon concert, Adam joined up with us and a few months later rob joined the band, and we have been melting faces ever since

I have been playing guitar for over 10 yrs. I have known Kyle and Gavin since high school, Kyle and I started to play music around the age of 13 when I got a guitar. After a few years of playing covers with Kyle I decided to try to join some bands and play some shows, and for about 7 years I played in several bands of different genres from Punk to Prog and everything in-between but never found what I was looking for. One day I found my self with an extra ticket to go to a mastodon concert and called up Kyle (who didn’t even know who they were) and asked him if he would like to go. After that night, we have been jamming ever since. as for influences I am very influenced by , every time I die, mastodon , lamb of god, Pantera, older Metallica(I wish they would stop making records) ,Nothing face, Chimera, Dog fashion disco ,Tool , Rage against the machine, Darkest hour, and stevie ray Vaughn. Just to name a few. For me being a musician is an art for which I may not be the best at but I love. The idea of “painting” pictures with notes and tone’s. It’s a true honor to share my art with different people and hope that they enjoy it as much as I do

About LastEncore(new track posted/looking for vocalist)
Since 2007 the Last Encore have been playing there hearts out to audiences all over the state of Michigan. Looking to expand there territory to other states spreading there idea of heavy metal to music fans all over the world. Since recording with Dreadcore productions in the summer of 2009 things have starting to open up for this very young band. Opening up for such bands as Mobile Deathcamp, Skindred, Spinshank ,Marc Rizzo(ex Ill Nino,Soulfly)Know Lyfe and Five Finger Death Punch also being a part of the 2008 Indiana metal fest.
Hailing for Fenton Michigan, just south of flint Michigan, the Last Encore has played many of the well know venues in the area to great response from crowds and venue owners alike. This four piece describes themselves as a straight forward heavy metal band “we are not looking to reinvent the wheel; we just want to have a good time and play music”.
With support from friends and family the Last Encore have made a name for themselves gaining new friends and fans every time they play .So if you are ready to drink some whiskey and have a great time come out to a Last Encore show and raise your glass and bang your head.
