Last Gentlemen formed in Champaign Illinois in January 1984. The four piece band consisted of Brian Leach (vocals / guitar / keyboards), Michael Roux (keyboards), Jim Hewitt (keyboards / guitar) & Greg Manuel (keyboards). By the end of 1985 their first two independent albums outsold every commercial release at Champaign's largest record chain.
In the fall of 1985 drummer Tommy Garza and bassist Tom Broeske joined the band as full time members. By the end of 80's the band issued several additional releases on their Landmark Brothers label.
By the early 90's Last Gentlemen signed a major label deal with Zoo Entertainment and released one album before breaking up in 1993.

Yeah, just going through my old LPs from my parents house and found my personalized autographed copy of "Something to Someone". I forgot I even had that!
I loved seeing LG first at O'Malleys, then Mabels. Good times...
Yea we have songs ... as you know I already downloaded ONE POSSESSION onto my page. I'll have to pull out my albums because I can't remember what my other favorites were. And I could shoot myself because I thought I had at least one photo of myself with you guys and I can't find ANY - who'd believe it after all the shows I've seen!!!! Ugh - now you gotta do a reunion tour because you guys were one of the first groups that I was a fanatical groupie for week after week ... or at least meet me for a drink/dinner somewhere so I can get that picture uploaded ... lol ;)
Any chance that you guys will do a reunion tour??? Or put any of your old songs online? I hung out at Mabel's all the time ... and had even "borrowed" an id so I could go to your Chicago Spring Break Show - where was that - the Metro? I probably still have some of your old tapes/albums!
