The Last Heat makes a new turn on the complex road of poprock. A road that’s usually full og bumps or totally smoothed out. Longing melodies, surprising turns and unusual chord structures is some of the things you can expect to hear in a Last Heat-song. At the same time the music is full of beautiful harmonies, straight soft-rock beats and clever musicianship in fresh arrangements. Moving between the borders of pop and countryrock, this band has the swing of Jackson Browne or The Band, while in the next moment, they are bursting out in Springsteen-esque energybombs.
