It started in Fall of 2001 with Walker Walmus choosing to grab life by the horns, and take control of his own destiny. Instead of waiting for some band to take interest in his guitar skill, he began writing his own songs, and the foundation for the band was born.
Life went on, and Walker built a solid array of strong guitar riffs and different song structures. He one day, by chance, found himself playing a gig with Jonathan Busch. A brief conversation, and a little jam-time later, the band had welcomed its bass player.
Months passed and Walker's wife brought home news of a drummer she worked with. Walker and Jonathan took no hesitation, to get Lon Breedlove in the hot seat for an interview. Needless to say, Lon excitedly joined the two, and solidified the band into something greater than the three had previously imagined.
Now, with a creative musical strength, intelligence and pressing ideas; the band plans to step into the progressive rock world, tell their own stories and ask their own questions.
The Dawn of The Last Sunrise has begun.

This has been a great first year for us here at Sunfire Studios. We just posted 5 new songs for your enjoyment. If you like any of the songs, then hit up the bands that made them. They're all working musicians, so undoubtedly they're all looking for people to play shows with. Thanks to everyone who helped us out this year. Merry Christmas,
Phillip Westbrook Chief Engineer
p.s. walker how did you guys make the recordings? The drums sound pretty darn good.
