Smokey was the winner in 2000 of the Budlight's Comedian of the Year competition - this comedy dynamo packs a powerful punch of laughter. Born and raised in Harlem, NY the oldest of four brothers with an African-American mother and a Hispanic father, Smokey grew up with plenty to talk about, being the class clown. Smokey always knew he wanted to be a comedian. When I was eleven years old, I went to my grandfather's house one weekend and I snuck and listened to one of his comedy albums, Richard Pryor's 'Is That Nig** Crazy. At that point, he knew what he wanted to do for the rest of this life. You can currently see Smokey on this seasons and last seasons BET's Comic View, It's Showtime at the Apollo and in the upcoming movie Paper Soldiers with Roc-A-Fella and Universal Pictures. Smokey is definitely one to watch for in the new millennium.

Turning real life tragedies into brilliant comedy, Mike Destefano’s fearless approach to stand-up has quickly established him as one of the best comics working today.

Born and raised in The Bronx, Mike’s fascinating life of crime and addiction is the template for his hilarious act, taking all the stories from his past and morphing them into a stand-up show that leaves no one safe from laughter. Mike is a regular at all the top clubs in New York, has been heard on Sirius Satellite Radio, appeared on Showtime’s White Boyz In The Hood, author of Badda Bing Badda Buddha.

Mike has also been a featured comic at both HBO’s Aspen Comedy Festival and the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal. Mike has battled his demons, won, and emerged a wonderful comedian making audiences everywhere find humor in situations where there normally is none. Time Out New York has called him a “Must See” “Gruff, Candid and Unflinching." Mike DeStefano continues to prove himself as one of the most unique voices in stand-up comedy.

 In addition to co-founding the comedy group “Al & The Monkeys” with Robert Kelly and Dane Cook, Al Del Bene started doing stand-up comedy at the age of 18 in his home town of Boston. It did not take long for his unique “silly/edgy” style to catch on, and he quickly became an audience favorite.

  Moving to New York he became a staple of the under ground comedy scene there. Co-creating “The Al & Brett Show” a musical comedy duo, which had a year long run in the West Village, and “Razzle Dazzle” a mock improv group who would self destruct during every performance. Al also starred in several off-off Broadway plays ranging from original comedies to classic Shakespeare.

  Now in L.A. you can see him perform every weekend at The World Famous Laugh Factory in West Hollywood. He has recently performed at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, and just returned from entertaining ten thousand troops in Iraq. Al has also appeared on Comics Unleashed, and can be seen in the upcoming films “My Best Friends Girl” and “Born Again”.
