As the voice of Left Foot Green, Justin Harned lends not only his vocals but his life experience to the organic feel of each song. Born in Columbus, Mississippi in 1982, Justin first began playing music at the age of 20 through the teachings of guitarist, Brad Jones. Justin’s unique musical influences create the structure for which his lyrics are built around. With influences such as The Used, Atmosphere, My Chemical Romance, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Justin creates songs that he hopes will make his fans as happy as he is when listening to them. While this is only the second band that Justin has played with, he has already opened for bands like The Los Lonely Boys while on tour with his former band, The Stinos. But when not touring, Justin can be found in Westminster, CO sipping on Corona and tequila and perfecting the real, raw lyrics that will someday put Left Foot Green on the top.

Harmony Greenhalgh gives Left Foot Green a touch of class and the modern edge that may boost them into stardom. Influences like Van Halen and Bach give Harmony a unique blend of classic and modern styles that can make you bob your head to pizzicato funk or savor the mellow legato tones. Harmony began playing music at the age of seven and eventually emerged from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater with a degree in an Individualized Major in Fiddle. Her passion for the strings also flowed over into former band groups such as Paradise String Band, The Kettle Cats, and Cosmic Donkey. Currently, Harmony lives in Boulder, CO where she enjoys hiking, biking, eating good food, and an occasional bagpipe jam session. But when it comes to music and Left Foot Green, Harmony is the leading expert in creating fire from a fiddle.

Driven by the desire to never be poor, Brad’s mission is to create the best music he can. As a founding member of Left Foot Green, Brad knows his music business and has the aspirations of a true band leader. When Brad is not hiking in the mountains west of Boulder, CO, he always has a guitar in his hands. A Michigan native, Brad began playing music at the age of 8, while listening to rocks gods such as Van Halen, Metallica, and The Beatles. Brad has not only played in many other bands such as The Claim Jumpers, The Stinos, and Boulder Acoustic Society but has had a successful career teaching guitar for over 16 years. While with Boulder Acoustic society, Brad graced the main stage at The Red Rock Amphitheatre and toured in 32 states. In addition to playing guitar, Brad also plays the plectrum banjo and the ukulele. Nimble fingers and an unlimited cache of licks give Brad Jones a style that can never be matched.

Holding the band’s beats together with the low and funky tones of his bass guitar, Jimmy wants nothing more than to play as many shows as he can, play for as many people as he can, have as much fun as he can, and make as much money as he can. Jimmy’s versatile style can be witnessed when he is caught playing some of his other instruments such as guitar, cowbell, samba whistle, slide whistle, and triangle. Originally from Golden, CO, Jimmy began playing music at the age of twenty and with no formal training under his belt landed a European tour in 1994 as guitarist for The Nina Storey Band. Jimmy’s experience with eleven other bands is invaluable when it comes to being bassist for Left Foot Green. When he is not enjoying his favorite hobbies such as ballet, porn, drinkin’ beer, or scratchin’ his ass, Jimmy is serious and focused on the success of Left Foot Green. But the playful plucks and slaps that Jimmy brings to the band creates an atmosphere that every band should have. After all, Jimmy is having fun and as he says, “I’ll grow up someday. But today’s not the day.”

As the beating heart of Left Foot Green, Kelly pumps meter and count to the melodious members of this musical giant. At the age of thirteen, Kelly began a torrid affair with a drum head that would ultimately lead to the thunderous beats that drive Left Foot Green. Growing up in Albuquerque, NM, Kelly played in her first band, Six-Liter Something, and soon became a high school celebrity. Using this high school success as a boost of power, Kelly continued to pound the drums while listening to influences such as Dave Matthews Band, Tool, and Weezer throughout her college career. In between her world travels and career in marketing, Kelly has always found time to better herself as a drummer. Kelly currently lives in Thornton, CO with her husband Nick, and when she’s not practicing with the band you can find her at the gym, out with friends, or sipping a Red Bull. But despite all the distractions of the domestic world, the flash of lightning that is Left Foot Green would be incomplete without the clap of thunder that is Kelly Schuster.
