Greetings from the Low End! When I"m not being called Poppa(or some variation thereof), I am called Elliott. I'm a bassist/vocalist/producer/songwriter originally from Pittsburgh and currently residing in Southern California. God has blessed me with music, and I'm trying to center my life around spreading that blessing ....wanna help? Hit me with a friend request, come to a show, tell a friend if you like what you hear! After Graduating from the Pittsburgh High School for Creative and Performing arts, I studied Music at Clarion University. Later, fate drew me to the west coast, and I'm still here today. I play/have played with some truly amazing artists and musicians, and love any and every opportunity to get on stage. I'm a proud alumnus of the Young Americans, the world renowned performance company based in southern California. I've performed in 30 states, 4 countries, and 3 continents. Since I stopped touring with them, I stay in SoCal, playing bass, singing and producing. In addition to the recenly began BigPop solo project(my first single, fo Da-luz, is available now), I also play with Singer/songwriter Kurt Hunter (his album Up Too Late is available right now), Long Beach's pre-eminent acoustic soul star Angie Evans(her album, Cycle of Fruit, available right now). I play bass for a spiritually gifted Gospel group called Undivided and a fantastic and Funky group of dear friends known to all as Upstart.
