Friends, lovers, x-lovers, family and whatever is going on around us at the time. Some bands that influence us right now are The Pogues, Against Me, Johnny Cash, Violent Femmes and a whole bunch of others.
Neye Benziyor?
"...Straight out of the slums and into the spotlight, this band is the essence of the Cinderella Story!"
-Randall Verdeen, L.A. Herald
"...If Dracula and a whore with chlamydia had a love child and fed it nothing but Guiness and mashed-up Marlboro's, then sent it to live in Las Vegas, and it preyed on the souls of lonely, broken-down tourists and showgirls at the local blood-bank only to return triumphant and become the anti-hero of a generation... he would have this band play his wedding"
-Christine Karloff, Newport Review/Musicians Monthly
"...I laughed til' I cried, and then peed a little bit and forgot all about it and went to grab a sandwich. I remembered, then, why I was crying and it was because my mother had died in a construction accident, so to make myself feel better, I went and saw "The Liars Handshake" and pissed my pants all over again..."
Dean Howard, Columbus Currier
"...We sound like a folkish, country-ish, Irish-ish, country-ish-ish bar/street band."
-Us, The Liars Handshake
After playing in Arizona hardcore band Bullet Train to Moscow, Billy Culbertson, Nolan Thompson and Jared Christy decided to pursue a different sound. In the fall of 2005, the three formed The Liar’s Handshake. They each picked up new instruments and adopted a sound that’s a little bit country and a little bit everything else. Nolan put down his electric bass for an upright double bass, Billy traded in his drum kit for an acoustic guitar, and Jared stopped screaming long enough to find his singing voice somewhere between Shane McGowan and Tim Barry. By March of 2006 the guys adopted two fiddle players, Brittany Sanner and Megan McCluskey. The girls’ first performance with the band was an opening spot on Flogging Molly’s St. Patrick’s Day show. Since then the band has opened for Against Me!, David Alan Coe, Avail, and have played shows with a wealth of great local and touring bands from all musical backgrounds. The five-piece enjoys playing the local dive as well as venturing off to unknown crowds with a winning combination of booze, original songs penned by Christy and Culbertson and the occasional punk and country covers. Now joined by Matt Shannon on guitar the Liar’s Handshake will get you drunk.

Hows it going? Just letting everyone know what I have going
on and if you have any suggestions! As many of you know I am recording
this years Christmas Cd "Winter Dream
Vol.II" In case you don't know the Winter Dream Cd's are dedicated to
my father who was killed by a drunk driver Back in 2006. The guy who
caused the accident had TWO other EXTREME D.U.I's this one resulting in
a death and another person seriously injured! Yet the Drunk driver ONLY
received 4 years in prison and $1000 restitution! Like always I try to
pull the positive out of a negative situation, which is where my
Christmas Cd's come in!! The Winter Dream Cd's will come in 7 volumes
(7th volume being a best of) each Cd cover will be part of a puzzle,
resulting in one main picture when all Cd's are put together! Part of
the proceeds will go to M.A.D.D..... This years Cd will be promoted
with my new on-line Music School called Musia Institute (MusiaInstitute.com).
When you buy Winter Dream Vol. II you will also receive a months worth

Dream Vol. II is to have as many retail stores caring my Cd,
encouraging friends and students to buy Winter Dream Vol. II as
stalking stuffers, or bosses to give out to their employees. I will
also be on Ken Sharps "Ridin Dirty" Talk show on 830am sometime in
