The Life I Lead are a bunch of guys from all over New York City who believe hard work and passion will always work out in the end. The music industry is changing rapidly and this band understands that nowadays, a lot can be accomplished without a fancy record deal and others doing the work. They're a band who are not afraid to roll up their sleeves and do things on their own; all the writing, producing, designing, booking, and promoting is done by the band. They also tie their own shoes.

Here's a review of a New Jersey show we recently played: First up are New York natives The Life I Lead. The opening spot is just as important as the headlining spot and this band prove that. Whether playing for a hundred people or ten, confidence is important, and The Life I Lead have tons of it! As they play through song after song, the rhythms are infectious and incredibly catchy! This band is very passionate about what they do and that certainly comes through in the music. Their songs are never boring - building up, crashing down, and seemingly changing style mid-song. The Life I Lead finish an impressive set, leaving the audience buzzing and wishing for more.
of course:) except its not that great when you've lived here your whole life. if you came and picked me up and brought me somewher enice id appreciate that :) aahahha! just kidddds.
