Hello all, after a few months off I am resurrecting this withered corpse known as my myspace page! My name is Louise (or Fifties as I once was randomly nicknamed) and I am a Northern Irish lass currently attempting life as a freelance designer // illustrator // DJ.
Up until recently, I spent many happy years residing in the historical, sleepy town of Lincoln but in February 2009 I decided to head back to the Celtic homeland mainly because:
a) I got made redundant at work and decided I didn't want to have a proper job ever again
b) My house got repossessed because my landlord was a dodgy f**ker
c) I fancied going it alone as a freelancer from the comfort of the rural greenbelt of Ballymena. Life is good but most of the time I have only a crowd of sheep and a fat black cat for company
Whilst in England I Djed semi-professionally playing at various clubs up and down the country and over the years have supported the likes of Basement Jaxx, Jon Carter, Chris Lake, Herve, Touche, Caged Baby and on many occasions played warm up at the legendary Moda for Andy Geroge & Jaymo. Good times!
Over the years I have also made many mixtapes which some of you will have been bombarded with and in the past I've been lucky enough to be featured in both iDJ's Raw Talent Competition and Dj Mag's Pick n' Mix (both can be downloaded at the bottom of the music section).
