These six lucky ones will each do their best ONE MINUTE in a lightning round - audience vote determines which TWO of these six get to qualify as wildcards - and these two shall join the EIGHT automatic qualifiers as contestants numbered 9 and 10 in the SEMI-FINAL ROUND AGAINST:

I honestly think to myself, on most Mondays, towards the end of the day-job-workday:
"I'd love to get onstage at a great venue right fucking now, so I can try out the new brilliance that's escaped my brain and etched itself onto index cards over the weekend."
And then, usually, seconds later, I think to myself:
"Fuck - it's only Monday - I don't have any shows booked anywhere tonight - I'll just go home and wait till later in the week to get onstage."
