New Press Release from Rob at Catalyst Recording: THE LIGHTS, FLUORESCENT – 2009 Tour EP Vocalist Erika Blatnik and company release their second EP, the follow up to the highly praised “Neoteny”. The band has matured considerably since those early days, as evidenced in their complex arrangements and increasingly poetic lyrics. “Glory Underground” studies personal loss and haunted spirits along the Underground Railroad, “King In Checkmate” finds Blatnik and bassist Robby Hartis dueling it out vocally as their relationship falls apart and “Seaside Suicide” takes an oddly beautiful, visual look at a fantasy of underwater suicide. Produced and engineered by Rob Tavaglione.
